Looking for some big-city entertainment with small town appeal? Come paint your own pottery at Turtle Creek while you are in St. Ansgar.

There is a wide variety of items you can choose to paint. Make a special picture frame. Customize your own spoon rest or make a set of dishes for yourself. Paint your pottery while you drink your favorite latte or cappuccino. We know you will have a great time! When you come in the bisque ware is waiting for you. That just means pottery that has not been glazed. We supply the brushes and paint and will give you as much direction as you desire.

No need to worry about your clothing the paint washes out with ease. Once you are finished we take over. We coat your piece with a clear glaze to protect your creation.

Next, we fire the pottery in the kiln to cone 06, 1832 degrees. That’s hot! Then it takes some time to cool back down.

Overall, it takes us approximately one week to get your pottery back to you. You can also opt to have your pottery sent to you if you are not in the immediate area.
