Looking for some big-city entertainment with small town appeal?
Come paint your own pottery at Turtle Creek while you are in St.
Ansgar.
There is a wide variety of items you can choose to paint. Make a
special picture frame. Customize your own spoon rest or make a set
of dishes for yourself. Make a monster mug for the man in your life.
 Our figurines range from horses and mermaids
to sharks and hum-vees. If you can’t find exactly what you want in
stock, you can pre-order whatever you have in mind. Check out Bisque
Imports to see your options.
We know you will have a great time! When you come in the
bisque ware is waiting for you. That just means pottery that has not
been glazed. We supply the brushes and paint and will give you as
much direction as you desire.
No need to worry about your clothing the paint washes out
with ease. Once you are finished we take over. We coat your piece
with a clear glaze to protect your creation.
Next, we fire the pottery in the kiln to cone 06, 1832 degrees.
That’s hot! Then it takes some time to cool back down.  Overall, it takes us approximately one week to
get your pottery back to you. You can also opt to have your pottery
sent to you if you are not in the immediate area.
Are you looking for a unique way to remember a graduation,

away in a closet- use a guest platter! With our unique pens, your
guests can sign and leave messages on your platter. You will have a

At Turtle Creek we love to have pottery parties--whether
it is a Girls’ Night Out or an eight-year-old’s birthday. We can
accommodate up to sixteen per party. Parties can be booked during the day or
evenings after our regular hours.
